Why does scale goes up even when you eat healthy

Sometimes you could be doing the right thing when it comes to health but the results are disappointing. Here are some of the things that could lead to your weight gain even though eating healthy.


Food weight and digestion

~foods like vegetables and whole grains have high content fiber and they take long to digest. Food still in the stomach or intestines has weight.


water retention

~drinking more water increases weight scale though it’s temporary

~also eating food that are high in salt or sodium could lead the body holding water thus increasing weight scale


•hormonal changes

~this happens when you have poor sleep, stress or when menstrual cycle changes


muscle gain

~when you work out and strengthen your muscles they eventually become denser than the fat.Even though ,the body could look slimmer the muscles could still add more weight


inflammation after exercise

~sometimes you could get injuries when working out but because the tissues need to heal, they are forced to hold water to repair them
