Most people drink water and they don’t know if they’re drinking enough or not.The truth is that water is very important in our bodies because our bodies are made up of about 60% of water. We need to drink the right amount of water to stay hydrated and energetic that is 8-10 glasses per day or 2-2.5litres per day. Based on the approximate amount of glasses or liters mentioned as per rule ,here are some factors to consider on quantity of water to take:


•Activity

~how active are you in your daily life?if you’re are always on the run of duties that require movement then you need to make sure you take at least 8 glasses of water per day to keep you energized.


•Body size

~The surface area of a small body is always different from that of a big body. Big bodies have lots of blood, cells and blood compared to small bodies

•A 50-59kg body should at least drink 1.5-1.75

liters

•A 60-79kg body should at least drink 2.1-2.45 liters

•A 80-90 body should at least drink 2.7-3.15 liters


•weather

~people that live in areas that have high temperatures should drink lots of water to keep hydrated since they mostly sweat .


•sickness

~whenever you feel drained or weak that’s a sign you could be getting sick. To boost your immune system, you need to drink lots of water .


•A breastfeeding woman should drink lots of water for easy flow of milk for the infant and keep herself hydrated.







 
 
 

I realized that my daughter would stay up to 5 days without drinking water.Her skin looked so ashy and her lips were so dried .I would give her the water bottle to have it the whole day but still she wouldn’t finish the water; so I had to figure out ways of helping her getting hydrated and recently I’ve seen improvement of her skin.


.having a glass of water every morning when you wake up could elevate your mood energy


.making soups as part of meal will keep you hydrated


.taking smoothies is better than taking junky drinks


.eating juicy fruits like watermelon and oranges


.taking herbal tea like green tea, lemon tea and hibiscus tea


.drinking milk like coconut milk, almond milk and dairy milk


.before eating you could also sip water as a habit

Water is a basic need for our bodies.Have you ever seen a car moving without being fueled?Same as to the body functionality it needs water.

.when the body is dehydrated it could lead to feeling tired and become sluggish


.urinating a dark yellow pee is a sign that there’s no enough water in body


.lack of enough water in the body makes the skin dull


.feeling thirsty means that the body still needs more water


.sometimes a dry skin and lips doesn’t mean that you it needs moisturizer. Yes it needs to be moisturized but to see the results you need to drink enough water


.bad breath from the body is another sign that you are not taking enough water


.when the body becomes dehydrated it alters its functioning and therefore leading to body cramps


.dehydrated body could lead to headache


.it could lead to constipation
